Staff and Instructors
I am currently a full time student at Chemeketa Community College working towards my AAOT. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life and I am very grateful that I am able to work at such an amazing gym.
I recently graduated from Western Oregon University with my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Dance. In addition to working at Fitness Experience, I teach ballet and jazz locally. I have danced since I was 3 years old and enjoy dance as a form of exercise and as a creative outlet. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, thrift shopping, traveling to the coast, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops. I love to travel and hope to explore as many countries as possible in my life.
Growing up I was always active and involved in multiple sports, but it wasn’t until after high school that I developed my true passion for fitness. I live, dream, and eat fitness everyday of my life. I fell in love with fitness. I wanted to share my love with others who have the aspiration to become a better, stronger version of themselves. I also attend school full time studying Public Health and Nutrition. Balancing school, work, and fitness may be tough sometimes but I believe that finding time for yourself and your health is very important, and a great example for family.
I’m Shannon, a desert-dwelling native who is loving all the outdoor activities Oregon has to offer! Fitness is very important to me and I find it extremely therapeutic. There’s nothing a nice, hard trail run, or a challenging CrossFit WOD can’t help with. Fitness and proper nutrition is helping me to elevate my life plus my mentality, and I am grateful to be able to participate. On a day away from the facility you can find me out hiking (if it’s not too rainy!), hanging out with my boyfriend and our two fantastic dogs, reading as many books as possible, watching movies, doing anything involving being out in the sun, and chasing down my dreams.
Timothy Reynolds is a CrossFit Level1 Trainer (CF-L1) as well as an athlete and aspiring competitor. I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and also work as a lead fitness consultant. My specialty is injury prevention and rehabilitation. My hobbies include baseball, basketball, and longboarding. One of the most valuable things you have in your life is your health. Keeping it at its peak will shape you and set you up for success. I want to help you reach your fitness goals and improve the quality of your life.

I enjoy powerlifting, eating sushi, and spending my free time with my husband, daughter, and son. On a day off, you could find me down at the Bayfront eating clam chowder with my family. I love working in the Kids Club, and when not working, it allows me to have a stress free workout knowing my kiddos are provided a safe and fun environment.
